Companies are constantly generating data. The amount of information is growing - but what happens to data that is outdated or even incorrect? With its new "data clean-up" service, Congree provides an answer to this question.
"Be it product information or master data – companies often have huge amounts of legacy data. These are often still written according to outdated spelling rules or old quality standards. Sometimes they even contain linguistic flaws", says Congree CEO Stefan Kreckwitz.
He continues: "In everyday practice, legacy data is often migrated from system to system without undergoing a makeover. This is a pity, as the potential of existing texts cannot be exploited in this way. This is where we approach the issue."
Axel Theofilidis, Language Technology Developer, explains the procedure: "With our tools for linguistic language processing we can directly recognize and eliminate a large amount of linguistic problems. As a result, only a few strings which have to be corrected manually remain in the records".
